As the WAN 21 for 21 award enters its final phase in the quest to find 21 of the most innovative firms or individuals to lead architecture into the 21st century, the competition really starts to hot up.

So far 13 have been selected from a total of 276 entries, leaving just 8 places for what is fast becoming one of architecture's most sought after and fought for prizes.

Any qualified architect can enter; we are looking to recognize emerging firms and individuals that show the potential for industry innovation.

We will be showcasing the winners at an exhibition at Arup's London headquarters providing a fantastic exposure to an established audience of international developers, architects, designers and engineers. Winners will be invited.

WAN can also announce the exclusive opportunity to be featured at World Architecture Day 2013 held at AIA New York, launching your practice into an international spotlight.
The entry fee is £50 GBP and only one entry can be submitted per individual or firm.
The deadline for entries is 28 February 2013.
No idea is too big or too small for this special category, only innovation is required.
