On 20 September 2018, World Architecture News (WAN) supported by New London Architecture (NLA) will host the Reclaiming the Streets Symposium, at which an international task force will publish radical proposals, a ‘blueprint’ for cities providing a vision for the streets of the future. The event will take place at The Building Centre from 6pm. Here’s why you need to be there…
The proposals being put forward by our International Task Force in September will aim to address the challenges created by the radical changes coming to our streets. This is both a unique opportunity and an imperative for architects to comment on these new ideas as we head towards a once-in-a-generation crossroads. The advent of new technology, the sharing society and increasing awareness of the major health risks from vehicle pollution are creating a perfect storm of opportunity.
Be part of the conversation, and network with experts and city leaders for this very important discussion.
