The Qatar Foundation and the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy has officially unveiled the design for the Qatar Foundation Stadium. The stadium is part of the Health and Wellness Precinct, within Qatar Foundation Education City and is conceived as a proposed host venue for the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ and one of the principal sports complexes in Qatar. Steven Holl wins first international design competition for a public building in Mumbai

Steven Holl Architects has been selected to design a new wing for the Mumbai City Museum, also known as Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum. Besting competition from Zaha Hadid, OMA and Amanda Levete, plus 5 other finalist teams, Steven Holl Architects will now work in collaboration with Opolis Architects, Guy Nordenson & Associates and Transsolar on the design. Bosco Verticale wins International Highrise Award as ‘prototype for cities of tomorrow'

A high-rise ‘urban forest’ in Milan has been selected winner of the International Highrise Award 2014 as presented by the City of Frankfurt am Main with Deutsches Architekturmuseum and DekaBank. Bosco Verticale was designed by Boeri Studio (now Stefano Boeri Architetti and Barreca & La Varra) with developer Hines and engineers Arup.
