Just a quick reminder to let you know that there's still time to submit your entry for the WAN Effectiveness Awards 2012. Get your submissions to us by Friday 31 August and you could be in with a chance to receive this prestigious accolade. We've already had an overwhelming response from participants across the globe and, as usual, the standard is extremely high.

If you haven't already submitted your designs, we are looking for projects that have made a measurable impact on life both within the building and in the wider community. You may have built a school that boosted student performance or a hospital that enhanced patient recovery rates. In short, designs that have made a difference. Casting an expert eye over the entries will be a top-flight panel of industry experts, chosen for their considerable experience and extensive insight.

Gavin Thompson, Head of Strategic Development at Buro Happold
Peter Gluck, Founder and Principal of Peter Gluck and Partners
Christina Seilern, Founder of Studio Seilern Architects
Graham McClements, Board Director and Head of the Workspace Sector of BDP

For this year's awards, we are delighted to welcome the return of Buro Happold as sponsors. A leading engineering consultancy, their innovative solutions to challenges faced in the built environment have not only changed the way in which the industry approaches sustainability, but also helped redefine what we consider an 'effective' building.

You've only got a few days left to enter, so send in those designs today for the opportunity to showcase your talents to our global architectural community and receive the recognition your work deserves.
