accessory collections can be entered as one entry and prototypes; one-off designs and
mass-produced products are also all eligible to enter. |

Ghislaine Wood is Senior curator specialising in 20th century art and design in the Research Department
of the Victoria & Albert Museum. She has curated several major international exhibitions including British
Design 1948-2012 (2012), Surreal Things: Surrealism and Design (2007), Art Deco 1910-1939 (2003) and
Art Nouveau 1890-1914 (2000).
Manager for the UK and International Divisions of KnollStudio, the luxury furniture manufacturer, Justin
Pratt has responsibility for guiding the KnollStudio business through its ambitious growth plans.
Sheridan Coakley set up the furniture brand SCP in 1985, at a time when there were very few producers
of modern furniture in Britain. He has been credited with launching the careers of design luminaries such
as Matthew Hilton, Konstantin Grcic and Jasper Morrison. Nearly three decades on, SCP remains true to
its founding idea, to make and sell design products that are functional, beautiful and made to last. In 2010
he won the Best Retail Innovation Award by Elle Decoration in The British Design Awards.
Matthew Hilton's furniture is held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum,
London, the Geffrye Museum, London, and the Manchester City Art Gallery. He was elected a Royal
Designer for Industry (RDI) in 2005. In 2007 Matthew launched his company Matthew Hilton Limited.
Donna Wilson set up her company in 2003 after making knitted creatures for her final show at the Royal
College of Art. Since then she has built her business designing and making a collection of curious
cushions, luxurious lambswool blankets, and a variety of products for the home. Recently crowned
'Designer of the Year' by Elle Decoration Design Awards, Donna runs her studio and workshop in East
London. |
