Welcome
This month we meet Sue Carr, Founder and Principal Director of Melbourne based studio, Carr Design Group, winner of the 2017 WIN Awards Hotels category with their project Jackalope.
With a career in interior design spanning almost five decades, it’s not surprising that Sue is a master in the art of combining the right elements to produce something unexpected and something magical, we talk to her about some of the other illustrious projects she has worked on, including Citibank’s first ever unmanned branch, and the acclaimed Westin Hotel in Melbourne.
In this edition of INSIDE, we also showcase a selection of projects, products and practices who have entered into this year’s WIN Awards so far. Including David Collins Studio, i29 interior architects and Studio Munge, to name just a few.
With over 430 entries from 40 countries around the world in 2017, the WIN Awards is the largest international interior and product design awards. Many of our award winners have testified that the global exposure gained contributed significantly to their business success.
You may have missed our early bird entry fee but there is still time to enter into the 2018 World Interiors News Awards. If you would like to have your work featured in next month’s INSIDE, enter by Thursday 31st May.
