Armadillo, is a design by Spanish designer Eslava. Its shape reminds us of that strange mammal from Southern America whose activity starts at sunset.
Highly Commended: Cloud Softlight Mobile by MOLO Design
cloud softlight mobile, designed by Stephanie Forsythe + Todd MacAllen and produced by molo, creates a luminous, undulating overhead canopy that provides a feeling of spatial intimacy. The mobile structure provides atmospheric light and a sense of enclosure.

In collaboration with the Korean Fawoo (which holds the relevant patents) Santa & Cole entrusted Antoni Arola with creating a collection of "luminous objects".
Shortlisted: Tray Lamp by BSweden
Tray lamp is based on a combination of two iconic objects; the metal tray and a traditional carbon filament lamp. The combination serves two functions: the opal white glass globe provides a comfortable, dimmable light, and the tray makes a perfect storage for small items. Designed by Jonas Wagell, produced by Bsweden.

The CSYS LED task light is a dimmable LED lamp that marries the latest technology with sleek design and also addresses environmental concerns. The CSYS usesheat pipe technologywhich ensures the sustainable performance of its LEDs for over 160,000 hours continual use
Shortlisted: EQUO LED Desk Lamp by Koncept Technologies Inc.
The lamp has a streamlined counterweight design for feather-light adjustability. Made of lightweight aluminium alloy, the ultrathin arm and whisper-thin linkage rod work together to keep the head pointed in the same direction when the arm moves up and down, and brightness is quickly and easily adjusted with a swipe on the touchstrip.
