



Winner: The Rookery by Office For Visual Interaction Inc
The Rookery is one of the greatest surviving examples of early commercial skyscrapers. For over a century, the building's distinctive dark red masonry facades have been unlit, making it visually disappear at night. Lighting now transforms the building from a shadowy silhouette into a nocturnal presence.

ThyssenKrupp is a global materials and technology group with some 173,000 employees, best known for steel technology and escalators. All head offices have now been consolidated on one campus in Essen, Germany.

Lighting Design International were given the rare opportunity to help develop the visionary new ESPA life flagship spa with a complementary lighting scheme which was energy efficient as well as being respectful to the original features of the historical existing building.

Shortlisted: The St Botolph Building, London, UK by Spiers + Major
St Botolph's House is a new build speculative office development in the City of London by Minerva plc, designed by Grimshaw. The lighting scope covers all the internal public areas: the reception, central lift core, outer stair cores and atrium.
