WAN URBAN REGENERATION AWARDS

Urban regeneration is essential to revitalising impoverished areas, developing communities and improving the infrastructure of society. Consequently, it is an area of key interest to architects, developers and planners. To reflect this ongoing concern, World Architecture News is launching its Urban Regeneration Awards 2012, showcasing the very best in urban design from across the globe.

Our prestigious, internationally recognised awards will be celebrating the finest design solutions to:

Urban regeneration schemes / Town planning / Landscaping / Public realm areas /
Utility buildings

There are two categories within the Urban Regeneration Awards: completed and unbuilt/design-only projects. The former category is open to all projects completed on or after 01 January 2009, whilst there is no date restriction on the unbuilt category. You may enter any design for the above typologies, as well as future masterplanning schemes, even if it is under construction or only at the concept stage. Judging the submissions will be a distinguished panel of industry experts, chosen for their extensive experience and considerable insight.
